Maybe I should check on Fiorentino. It seems OK, he's average overall but a bit below average for an outfielder. He's put up unimpressive but solid minor league stat lines but mostly in bad hitters parks.
I think he could be a good 4th outfielder, I wouldn't go further than that.
I don't manually adjust any projections that I don't think look right, but I'll look at such things (Ichiro) to try and figure out why I don't like the projection, with the aim of improving the system.

CHONE Projection Day is just about my favorite day on the baseball nerd calendar. Sorry for the unrepentant fanboyism, but I really love your stuff.
I have to ask, though, if some of the minor league translations weren't scripted quite right in this initial release. At first I got very excited about, e.g., Jeff Fiorentino's projected +2/150 offense, but then someone pointed out not only that weirdness, but in other places as well.I say "scripted" because it seems like it might not be a problem with the system itself, but with something in the programming.
You certainly better than I, Rally, and I'm sure you already know about this.
P.S. Can we still leave Alex Gordon at +11, or bump him up to +20?

Good to see you back blogging Rally.
I just had a quick question. I was wondering if you "massage" any of your projections or if it's all computerized, with tweaks to your formulas here and there.
Thanks again for the projections.
